Eureka

Eureka is based in a small village called Vickleby on the island Öland in the Baltic Sea. From here, we plan and produce our films and cultural events. We produce films and we arrange seminars, conferences and education mainly in the cultural sector. Often, this is done through a close collaboration with partners all over Sweden and in other countries, often with TV-broadcasters, organisations, authorities, private companies and international networks. The projects are mainly initiated from our own ideas but we also make productions on order. After more than 20 years of experience, we do have a very well developed network in Sweden and Internationally.



We produce films. The most frequent productions are documentaries. But we also make short films, feature films and educational films. Especially, we have experience from making films about children’s and youth’s needs, feelings and situa-tions. We make films about people and nature united and about cross-cultural new creations, international relations, exchanges and breaking points between the heritage and new expressions. We initiate, plan and realise seminars, courses, educational programs and conferences within the cultural sector. Our goal is to find forms and themes where we can break borders – both geographical and cultural. Where different kinds of arts meet and where people with different experiences share knowledge and vision – that is where we belong and have our arena.
